New mom & breastfeeding

2 under 2 as a new mom sounds crazy. I never grew up learning things a woman should, no mother to teach me sadly and breastfeeding seemed like a scary thing I was just MEANT to do. No knowledge no understanding. My breastfeeding consult Jaime felt like a god sent. With my first child if was just a juggle, I wanted to refuse any and all help I didn’t need it cause I SHOULD KNOW what to do and that it’s natural but in reality I faced cracked nipples, so much pain. When I finally excepted the help it got so much easier. I appreciate all the help my WIC office offered, and all the help my consultant gave me. With my second child I ended breastfeeding early do to my mental health but Jaime gave me so much reassurance that I gave both my babies a perfect start, that I did it and I’m pretty dang proud of it. Advice to many new moms. Just try it, it’s scary, confusing, and sometimes awkward but my goodness is it beautiful. The way my babies would stare into my eyes brought me just so much pure happiness and joy and I know I did it. Just try it but don’t be afraid to ask for help. You got this.
